Tyler Sullivan recently joined the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® office crew as the Operations Manager. Although Tyler is new to the office, he is well acquainted with our franchise. He began working with TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®\Brentwood-Franklin in November 2012 as a driver. As Operations Manager, Tyler seeks to maintain high standards in customer service while minimizing exposure to damage and aims to achieve this goal through consistent training and development of frontline staff including: movers, drivers, and trainers. Tyler aimed for this position by caring for the customers. He stated, “If you always put the customers first, everything else will fall into place.”
Originally from Pittsburgh, Tyler moved to Franklin at a young age and fell in love with the area. After experiencing the great south, he chose to stay here and attend Nashville School of Law, where he plans to graduate and become a practicing attorney.
Tyler’s favorite thing about TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® is that his superiors have experienced his position and the company idea of promoting within. He believes this creates loyalty and respect between the employer and employee. Tyler also enjoyed his time as a driver. During a move, customers are dealing with the stress of packing and unpacking weeks prior and after the actual move. A mover sees the customer at his or her most frazzled point of the relocation. Tyler loved being the person to help take the stress off of his customers and making the day a little easier.
Tyler’s advice to current and future TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® movers is be coachable and willing to listen. In time, you will gain strength and endurance. It is always better to do things correctly rather than quickly.
We are very excited to have Tyler on the management team, and we look forward to his hard work and willingness to strive in the position
